It is a creative experience that will get you out from behind your computer and surrounded by creativity, inspiration, and relaxation. Obviously. Don’t worry, we’ll feed you some delicious food. We’ve got your breakfast, lunch, and dinner covered. We like to eat, so don’t worry - you definitely won’t go hungry. Special dietary requests? We’ve got you, just let us know!
What better place to adventure than with 30+ amazing people in the heart of Lake Tahoe? There’s not one. We have tons of fun things planned such as paddle boarding, hiking, jet skis, and much more. What if you aren’t into adventure? Well, our mega mansion has tons of great indoor activities, too!
At the end of each day we will all gather around the campfire to learn from our industry peers and discuss the challenges, struggles and successes we all face. This is one of the most important aspects of Designer Trek. We want you to leave with a new system of support (& an amazing new slack channel).

S. Lake Tahoe is the place with enough around-the-clock awesomeness to keep you playing all day and partying all night, all on the shore of the largest alpine lake in North America – Lake Tahoe. With its clear water surrounded by the majestic Sierra Nevada, jaw-dropping vistas, stately groves of pines, and ludicrously gorgeous sunsets, Lake Tahoe is an alpine paradise.
Between the adventures in Tahoe’s wild backyard, the campfire talks, the relaxation, and yes, even the food and drinks you inhale — your every moment will be surrounded with fresh inspiration. Designer Trek was created for you to step away from the chaos for a moment in time to refresh and recharge so you can take on the world with creativity.
Due to the nature of Designer Trek—there are no refunds. If your schedule changes and you can’t make it to Designer Trek, you reserve the right to sell your ticket. Just know, you’ll be missed.
Is there a schedule?
The weekend kicks off on Friday, June 3rd! Whether you fly, drive, take the bus, or come by train — plan on being ready to mingle by 6:00 PM. If you are flying into Reno, bus rides will be included in your ticket price. Details to come. And as for the rest of the schedule — Why read a schedule when you can live it? The plan is to not have a plan, but live out a grand adventure.
What essentials do I need to bring?
Easy. You and your best bud — that is, if you like to bring him / her to cool creative events. But the main thing — just make sure you are there. We’ll be mixing things up so be sure to bring some city clothes + your outdoor gear, too! There will be a lot of water activities planned, so be sure to bring your swimming suit!
Do we need our own transportation?
We’ve got your transportation covered throughout your stay with us. This weekend is about you relaxing and not worrying about the details.
* Your travel to/from Lake Tahoe is not included in your registration. A bus will be provided once you arrive at the airport. If you are driving to Designer Trek - cool, just let us know!
